I’m delighted to share that our Sustainable Development (SD) Report 2022 and 2022 Highlights are now available.

As we celebrated Swire Properties’ 50th anniversary in 2022, we’re excited to share an SD Timeline that showcases our collective efforts and achievements, five decades of unique placemaking and sustainable development work.

The Company is making steady progress towards our SD targets and reaching new heights. Our ongoing efforts continue to be recognised globally: We ranked first in Asia and fourth on the DJSI World among real estate companies worldwide, maintained our Global Sector Leader position in the Mixed Use Developments category of GRESB for the sixth year in a row, and topped the Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability Index for the fifth consecutive year.

As we look to the future, we’ll continue to integrate sustainability into every facet of our business and work closely with our tenants and partners to bring positive change.

Listed on the Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index for the first time.

Conducted a People Engagement Pulse Survey across Hong Kong and the Chinese Mainland, achieving an 88% engagement index rating.

HKD1,477 million spent on sustainable procurement.

52 tenants signed the Green Performance Pledge, representing 37.9% (occupied lettable floor area) of our office tenants in Hong Kong.

Continue to work towards our 1.5°C-aligned Science-based Targets (SBTs) and set out a Net-zero Roadmap to guide our strategic investments and actions, which support our net-zero commitments.

Our Cloud-based Smart Energy Platform was the sole winner in the Best Digital Innovation category at the CIBSE Building Performance Awards 2023.

	Performance (Economic)

Published our fifth set of Climate-related Financial Disclosures as per TCFD recommendations, and began to disclose against ISSB’s Exposure Draft on Climate-related Disclosures.

Green financing accounted for approximately 60% of our current bonds and loan facilities.
